Results reveal that nurses experiencing more role ambiguity, role conflict, work load, organizational politics, negative shift work attitude, work-home conflict, unfavourable physical environment, and job complexity are at greater risk of job burnout. Emotional exhaustion and reduced personal accomplishment are the most influential mediators between job demands and turnover intention/organizational commitment.
