| Summary: | This annotated bibliography conciders prenuptial agreements in light of recent literature on areas of relationship, communication, and extended family that Barber emphasized. The scope of the bibliography encompasses three areas. One area of research reviews intimacy during engagement and and marriage, and identifies the characteristics and behaviours that promote intimacy within the relationship. Another area considers the relationship between an engaged/married coupleand money management have on matital satisfaction and intimacy. The final area focuses on the relationship between an engaged/married couple and extended family in terms of multigenerational, remarriage, and contractual issues. Given both the complexity of relationship and intimacy topics, this annotated bibliography represents only a starting point for further research. |
